関数は、ユーザの好みのブロックサイズを、環境変数

の値に基づいて決定します。

関数は、
.Dq 1K-blocks
のようにブロックサイズを記述する、ヌル文字で終わる文字列へのポインタを
返します。
.Fa headerlenp
によって参照されるメモリには、
(終端のヌル文字を含まない) この文字列の長さが入れられます。
.Fa blocksizep
で参照されるメモリには、バイト単位のブロックサイズが入れられます。

ユーザのブロックサイズ指定が不当な場合は、
標準エラー出力に警告メッセージが書かれ、
返される情報は 512 バイトのブロックサイズを反映したものとなります。
