* Remove unnecessary evals that do-fetch was using.Mathieu Arnold2016-06-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Turns out that env(1) knows how to parse a properly quoted string using -S "string", it makes the double eval used for the fetch command to be unnecessary. This is because running: eval "foo $(escape $bar)" is silly when this works: foo $bar So remove escaping and quoting, and sillyness. * Remove OSVERSION checks that do not make sense any more.Mathieu Arnold2015-04-031-15/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | For example (${OSVERSION} >= 900000 && ${OSVERSION} < 900021) is always true, as is (${OSVERSION} > 900002 || ${OSVERSION} < 900000 && ${OSVERSION} > 800107). Regarding patches, when an EXTRA_PATCHES is no longer needed, I remove it, when it is always needed, I renamed it, in one case, I merged two patches. In cases where I had to hand-edit unusual instances also modify formatting slightly to be more uniform (and in some cases, correct). This includes adding some $FreeBSD$ tags, and most importantly moving rcvar= to right after name= so it's clear that one is derived from the other. Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=289156

* geomWatch is a program for monitoring the well-being of GEOM providers. ItPhilip M. Gollucci2010-01-145-0/+99
checks the state of each configured provider at a configured interval, and, if it notices that a provider has lost a component, or encounters a problem while checking a provider's state, it will send an e-mail with details of the matter--such as what components were lost and which remain, or, in the event of a problem, what the problem was--to an arbitrary number of recipients, so that corrective action can be taken (for example, replacing a failed disk).
