Character code independent files have been installed.  Now, install
either japanese/ptex-jis, japanese/ptex-euc or japanese/ptex-sjis.

Note that name of these packages indicates the character code used for
the output to the terminal and log files.  The following table shows
which character code is used for different purposes.
