To enable the driver set up environ(7) e.g.,

For sh/bash/ksh/zsh run and (optionally) add into ~/.profile:
  export LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=iHD

For csh/tcsh run and (optionally) add into ~/.login:
  setenv LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME iHD
