autofs was introduced with FreeBSD 10.1 and is the supported method for automounting filesystems. As of r296194 the amd man page claimed that it is deprecated. This builds fine with FAST_DEPEND but the mkdep method requires that include/ generates the headers during 'make depend' so the subsequent directories can find them when running mkdep. Sponsored by: EMC / Isilon Storage Division

I was missing the HOST_OS_VERSION setting in the fall-back case.

Also, the script was too position dependant. We now have make(1) pass in the file to grub around in to get our settings from.
