* Add sigsetop extensions commonly found in musl libc and glibcKyle Evans2019-12-121-0/+31
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | These functions (sigandset, sigisemptyset, sigorset) are commonly available in at least musl libc and glibc; sigorset, at least, has proven quite useful in qemu-bsd-user work for tracking the current process signal mask in a more self-documenting/aesthetically pleasing manner. * Clean up the vcs ID strings in libc's gen/ directory.John Baldwin2018-07-031-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Move CSRG IDs into __SCCSID(). - When a file has been copied, consistently use 'From: <tag>' for strings referencing the version of the source file copied from in the license block comment. - Some of the 'From:' tags were using $FreeBSD$ that was being expanded on each checkout. Fix those to hardcode the FreeBSD tag from the file that was copied at the time of the copy. - When multiple strings are present list them in "chronological" order, so CSRG (__SCCSID) before FreeBSD (__FBSDID). If a file came from OtherBSD and contains a CSRG ID from the OtherBSD file, use the order CSRG -> OtherBSD -> FreeBSD. * General further adoption of SPDX licensing ID tags.Pedro F. Giffuni2017-11-201-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Mainly focus on files that use BSD 3-Clause license. The Software Package Data Exchange (SPDX) group provides a specification to make it easier for automated tools to detect and summarize well known opensource licenses. We are gradually adopting the specification, noting that the tags are considered only advisory and do not, in any way, superceed or replace the license texts. Special thanks to Wind River for providing access to "The Duke of Highlander" tool: an older (2014) run over FreeBSD tree was useful as a starting point. Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=326025
* Renumber copyright clause 4Warner Losh2017-02-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Renumber cluase 4 to 3, per what everybody else did when BSD granted them permission to remove clause 3. My insistance on keeping the same numbering for legal reasons is too pedantic, so give up on that point. * sigset_t change (part 5 of 5)Marcel Moolenaar1999-09-291-5/+28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ----------------------------- Most of the userland changes are in libc. For both the alpha and the i386 setjmp has been changed to accomodate for the new sigset_t. Internally, libc is mostly rewritten to use the new syscalls. The exception is in compat-43/sigcompat.c The POSIX thread library has also been rewritten to use the new sigset_t. Except, that it currently only handles NSIG signals instead of the maximum _SIG_MAXSIG. This should not be a problem because current applications don't use any signals higher than NSIG. There are version bumps for the following libraries: libdialog libreadline libc libc_r libedit libftpio libss These libraries either a) have one of the modified structures visible in the interface, or b) use sigset_t internally and may cause breakage if new binaries are used against libraries that don't have the sigset_t change. This not an immediate issue, but will be as soon as applications start using the new range to its fullest. NOTE: libncurses already had an version bump and has not been given one now. NOTE: doscmd is a real casualty and has been disconnected for the moment. Reconnection will eventually happen after doscmd has been fixed. I'm aware that being the last one to touch it, I'm automaticly promoted to being maintainer. According to good taste this means that I will receive a badge which either will be glued or mechanically stapled, drilled or otherwise violently forced onto me :-) NOTE: pcvt/vttest cannot be compiled with -traditional. The change cause sys/types to be included along the way which contains the const and volatile modifiers. I don't consider this a solution, but more a workaround. * Fix bit-twiddling in sigismember(3).James Raynard1997-11-211-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Note this ONLY affects the function version - the macro version is always used unless for some reason you put #undef sigismember in your code before calling it.
