It wasn't. The commit message was thus wrong. In addition it broke arm, and merged crypto related code. Revert with prejudice. This revert skips files touched in r316370 since that commit was since MFCed. This revert also skips files that require $FreeBSD$ property changes. Thank you to those who helped me get out of this mess including but not limited to gonzo, kevans, rgrimes. New kernel is binary compatible with old tools, since sizes of sockaddr_inarp and sockaddr_in match, and sa_family are filled with same value. The structure declaration is left for compatibility with third party software, but in tree code no longer use it. The change in design obsoletes the semantics of RTF_CLONING, RTF_WASCLONE and RTF_LLINFO routing flags. The userland applications such as "arp" and "ndp" have been modified to reflect those changes. The output from "netstat -r" shows only the routing entries. Quite a few developers have contributed to this project in the past: Glebius Smirnoff, Luigi Rizzo, Alessandro Cerri, and Andre Oppermann.
