r360467 by mmel:
Fix style(9). Strip write only variables.
Not a functional change.

r362399 by mmel:
Use naming nomenclature used in DesignWare TRM.
Use naming nomenclature used in DesignWare TRM.
This driver was written by using Altera (now Intel) documentation for Arria
FPGA manual. Unfortunately this manual used very different (and in some cases
opposite naming) for registers and descriptor fields. Unfortunately,
this makes future expansion extremely hard.

Should not been functional change.

r362405 by mmel:
Finish renaming in if_dwc.
By using DWC TRM terminology, normal descriptor format should be named
extended and alternate descriptor format should be named normal.

Should not been functional change.

r362415 by mmel:
Improve if_dwc:
 - refactorize packet receive path. Make sure that we don't leak mbufs
and/or that we don't create holes in RX descriptor ring
 - slightly simplify handling with TX descriptors

Add glue driver for Altera SOCFPGA Ethernet MAC (EMAC) found in
Terasic DE10-Pro (an Intel Stratix 10 GX/SX FPGA Development Kit).

The Altera EMAC is an instance of Synopsys DesignWare Gigabit MAC.

This driver sets correct clock range for MDIO interface on Intel Stratix 10
platform.

This is required due to lack of support for clock manager device for
this platform that could tell us the clock frequency value for ethernet
clock domain.

A later change, currently being iterated on in D24459, will in-fact change
the lock type to an sx so that TTY drivers can sleep on it if they need to.
Committing this ahead of time to make the review in question a little more
palatable.

tty_lock_assert() is unfortunately still needed for now in two places to
make sure that the tty lock has not been recursed upon, for those scenarios
where it's supplied by the TTY driver and possibly a mutex that is allowed
to recurse.

o Rewrite softdma_process_tx() of Altera SoftDMA engine driver
so it does not require a bounce buffer. The only need for this was
to align the buffer address. Implement unaligned access and we don't
  need to copy data twice.
o Remove contigmalloc-based bounce buffer from xDMA code since it is
not suitable for arbitrary memory provided by platform, which is
sometimes a dedicated piece of memory that is not managed by OS at all.

<title>Clean up OF_getprop_alloc API</title>

OF_getprop_alloc takes element size argument and returns number of
elements in the property. There are valid use cases for such behavior
but mostly API consumers pass 1 as element size to get string
properties. What API users would expect from OF_getprop_alloc is to be
a combination of malloc + OF_getprop with the same semantic of return
value. This patch modifies API signature to match these expectations.

For the valid use cases with element size != 1 and to reduce
modification scope new OF_getprop_alloc_multi function has been
introduced that behaves the same way OF_getprop_alloc behaved prior to
this patch.
