* Mk/**tex.mk: Convert bsd.tex.mk to USES=texMuhammad Moinur Rahman2022-12-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | - Update all the consumers to use USES=tex - USE_TEX=yes is the old way of writing USES=tex which has been removed and replaced in all ports - Almost all of the USE_TEX features remains unchanged - Some consumers had the same variables defined both in the mk infrastructure and also in the ports which have been removed from the ports as those are redundant. In case any of the consumers are failing to build please make sure that the nexessary USES=tex is there. Unlike previous USE_TEX=yes will no longer load the required VARS for tex and related dependencies. Reviewed by: portmgr Approved by: portmgr (blanket)
* Remove WWW entries moved into port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on WWW: lines in pkg-descr files. This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these pkg-descr files. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
* Add WWW entries to port MakefilesStefan Eßer2022-09-071-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources. Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the port specific URL to further information. There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time. This commit implements such a proposal and moves one of the WWW: entries of each pkg-descr file into the respective port's Makefile. A heuristic attempts to identify the most relevant URL in case there is more than one WWW: entry in some pkg-descr file. URLs that are not moved into the Makefile are prefixed with "See also:" instead of "WWW:" in the pkg-descr files in order to preserve them. There are 1256 ports that had no WWW: entries in pkg-descr files. These ports will not be touched in this commit. The portlint port has been adjusted to expect a WWW entry in each port Makefile, and to flag any remaining "WWW:" lines in pkg-descr files as deprecated. Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)

* Let USES=localbase add -L${LOCALBASE}/lib to LIBS instead of LDFLAGS.Tijl Coosemans2016-09-301-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | USES=localbase:ldflags can be used to set LDFLAGS. Normally LDFLAGS appears too early on the command line causing some ports to link with their own libraries in LOCALBASE (if installed) instead of WRKSRC. Also make use of _USES_POST so -L${LOCALBASE}/lib is added as late as possible after anything a port Makefile might set. Use _USES_POST instead of .include in libedit.mk and libarchive.mk so things like 'USES=libedit localbase:ldflags' work correctly. Fix some issues with LIBS in some ports. Switch ports that don't support LIBS to localbase:ldflags. PR: 212987 Exp-run by: antoine Approved by: portmgr (antoine) Notes: svn path=/head/; revision=423014

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | changed the license to the AGPL 3 in version 9.07 so print/ghostscript9-base is stuck at 9.06 which is almost 4 years old now. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | * print/ghostscript{7,8,9,9-agpl}-base Installs Ghostscript binary, libgs, and related files. These ports do not depend on X11 libraries (i.e. x11* devices are not available). USES=ghostscript will set dependency on one of them depending on GHOSTSCRIPT_DEFAULT. The default device is set to "display" or "bbox". * print/ghostscript{7,8,9,9-agpl}-x11 Installs a shared library which provides X11 support to the installed Ghostscript binaries. x11* devices will be enabled when the library is available. This depends on *-base (RUN_DEPENDS). USES=ghostscript:x11 will set dependency on one of them. - Fix integer overflow reported as CVE-2015-3228. - Update Uses/ghostscript.mk: * Add x11 keyword. nox11 keyword is now obsolete. * Use packagename in *_DEPENDS line to prevent relationship between -base and -x11 packages from being broken. - Fix x11/nox11 keyword and bump PORTREVISION in ports using USES=ghostscript to update dependency of pre-compiled packages. It is still possible to use the old stack by specifying WITHOUT_NEW_XORG in /etc/make.conf . FreeBSD 8-STABLE and released versions of FreeBSD still use the old version. A package repository with binary packages for new xorg will be available soon. This patch also contains updates of libxcb and related ports, pixman, as well as some drivers and utilities. Bump portrevisions for xf86-* ports, as well as virtualbox-ose-additions due to xserver version change. Apart from these updates, the way shared libraries are handled has been changed for all xorg ports, as well as libxml2 and freetype, which means ltverhack is gone and as a consequence shared libraries have been bumped. The plan is that this change will make library bumps less likely in the future. All affected ports have had their portrevisions bumped as a consequence of this. Fix some issues where WITH_NEW_XORG weren't detected properly on CURRENT.
